I thank you for checking this page before asking your question, it has likely already been answered here. If you don’t see your question here, then feel completely free to ask me anything! Questions and comments are always welcome. Anyways, let’s start.

Q: WHO ARE YOU?

A: Uh…female, the U.S.A., hello. This is my personal tumblr, if that helps.

Q: Do you accept requests/submissions?

A: Indeed I do! Requests for screenshots, gifs, concept art, music, official artwork, and fan art of specific characters or games are always welcome! As for submissions….yes, but I don’t take AMVs, and, if you’re submitting fan art, it will go through the same screening process I put deviantART and Pixiv pieces through before deciding to post them here. In other words, if it’s not good fan art, then I’m afraid I can’t accept the submission. Yes, yes, what’s “good” and what’s not is debatable, but I’m just trying to do some quality control here.

Q: What’s your favorite Sonic game/least favorite?

A: Sonic Adventure 2. Other favorites are Sonic Generations, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic Battle, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic CD, and the Sonic Advance games. Least favorites are Sonic 2006, Sonic 3D, and Sonic Blast.

Q: Who is your favorite/least favorite character?

A: Shadow’s my favorite, hands down, and after that it’s Rouge, Sonic, Knuckles, Metal Sonic, Maria, and E-123 Omega for my other particular favorites. Least favorites are Charmy, Storm, and Black Doom.

Q: What game is *insert one of my post links here* from?

A: Check the tags, the game name is always in the tags. If the tags don’t appear or it’s still not clear, then ask away.

Q: Which do you like best, Classic or Modern Sonic?

A: They’re both great, so I love them both! Classic Sonic is so cute, and Modern Sonic is so awesome, my love for them is most definitely equal.

Q: What do you think of Archie Sonic/the OVA/Fleetway/Sonic X?

A: After everyone started yelling at me to read Archie Sonic, I finally gave in, and I’m pretty glad that I did. I’m no big fan of the artwork, but the stories just keep getting better. The OVA (Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie, for those who don’t know) is seriously one of the most perfectly Sonic things I’ve ever experienced. It’s so adorable and quirky…I definitely recommend watching it! Dunno about Fleetway Sonic, never read it. And Sonic X is one of my favorite adaptations of the Sonic series, I don’t think I could ever grow tired of watching it. The Japanese version, that is. Never, ever, watch the English version of Sonic X, it’s the most god-awful thing. But I highly recommend the Japanese version.

Q: Will you post more of Archie Sonic/Fleetway/OVA/Sonic X/the Sonic cartoons?

A: This tumblr exists mainly for the Sonic game series, but I do post all of the above on a regular basis, just less so than the games. My priorities go, from greatest to least: games, Sonic X, the OVA, Archie Sonic (including Sonic Universe and the specials), the Sonic manga, the Sonic cartoons, Fleetway.

Q: What did you think of *insert game title here*?

A: Here are my thoughts on Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 2006, Sonic Adventure 2/:Battle, Sonic Colours, and Sonic Generations. These are the game reviews I’ve done so far as people have requested them. Some more frequently asked for game opinions:

Sonic Unleashed (PS3): A really, really good game. The day stages are nearly flawless, though sometimes controls are a little too loose, especially when dealing with the homing attack. The night stages aren’t too bad - they can be rather long or battle heavy, but I love the platforming. The game has beautifully designed environments, and, like all Sonic games, great music.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood - Loved it, it has great characterization, a lovely script, and I do love RPGs, so I love the gameplay. Highly recommended.

Secret Rings/Black Knight - Secret Rings is one of very few Sonic games that I haven’t played enough to have an opinion on. Once I do play it more, I’ll update this page….As for Black Knight, eh, it’s alright. I hate how your path is basically predetermined, so you’re stuck on one track throughout the stage - you can’t even move a couple of feet to the left or right, even if there’s land to run on, and if you want to backtrack, you have to run backwards, because the screen won’t turn around! It’s just a rather dull gameplay style to me…I like exploring at least a little bit. But I will say this - I love the style of the game - Shads looks great in armor, as does Blaze.

Sonic Heroes - Hate the dialogue and story, but the gameplay is fine with me. I don’t mind the team dynamics thing at all.
